Ingredients

• 1 gallon Milk
• 12 Eggs beaten
• 3 cups Sugar
• 1/2 tsp. Salt

Directions

Mama's shortcut was to mix all the ingredients and bring to a boil.

In a double boiler, scald milk. Mix eggs, sugar, and salt. Add to milk, continually stirring. Cook till it coats the spoon.
